Black Silicon!!! | |
coop Enthusiast Posts: 168 Kudos: 60 Votes: 2 Registered: 25-Jan-2006 | http://www.selleys.com.au/Selleys-Roof-Gutter-Silicone/default.aspx this is the only black silicon i could find in my local hardwear store. would it be safe for use in the aquarium i cant find any black "aquarium safe" silicon and seeing as though this is for roof and gutters, which rain water for drinking may run over, i thought it would be safe? othe sellys prodacts such as gap filler and bathroom silicons have labelled on them that they are mould and milcew protectant, so i believe as this does not have this on it, it does not contain those additives. what do you think? thankyou, |

I'm pretty sure it isn't as strong as the clear so maybe that is why is doesn't say safe for aquariums in case someone tries to use it for building. |
