The mesh of the bag is so porous that it allowed the fine dirt particles to flow through the bag and back into the tank creating a brown, cloudy, mess. Maybe this brand works better and has a finer mesh. Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |

They could probably use that in Australia where there is a water shortage. Also, the water pump part would come in handy in the summer if the power went out & the tank needed oxygenating. It sounds like they have improved them since Frank use to have one. Thanks for telling us that such a thing exists. We might keep it in mind for the future. |

Would you mind sending me a PM with the ebay item number or the sellers on-line name. I have tried one of these battery vacuums (Marina brand) last year. It was absolute rubbish and didn't have enough power to suck up anything. Sounds like yours works fine. I was looking at the eheim versions, but they are around $180 - $200 and I can't find anyone who has used them to give me feedback (asked here a couple of times). Thanks in advance. Cheers TW |
