Noisy Fluval | |
greenmonkey51 Fish Master Posts: 1571 Kudos: 1692 Votes: 5 Registered: 28-Jan-2004 | The fluval 404 on my 75g is starting to get to me. Its been noisy for the last couple months. I replaced the impellar shaft since I thought the old one was bent a bit. I have tried everything to keep it quiet. Has anyone else noticed fluvals running loud. Im just afraid to come home and have it quit on me. |

It is usually the impella have a few on hand at all times. Also clean it very regually I clean mine at every monthly filtration clean. I do not have a Fluval I prefer the Eheim a perfectly quite unit. illustrae Fish Addict Posts: 820 Kudos: 876 Registered: 04-May-2005 | I love fluvals, and I've never had a problem with them in the past year. After about a month, my Fluval Plus 1 gets a little noisy (a rattle sound), but when I clean it and brush out the inpeller housing, everything is fine again. My Fluval Plus 3 filters are perfectly quiet, and I've never had a problem with them, and same for my 4... Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
