I need to setup a hospital tank but I dont have a heater for one. I have a bunch of heaters in all my other tanks but I need to figure out how to switch them around the easiest to free up one. Heres the tanks and heaters. Also I cant just go buy one as thats not a option right now.

125g- 2 300wt heaters
75g- 2 200wt heaters
55g 1 300wt
20g- 1 100wt
20g(hospital)- none

Hi,
I'd take one of the 75's heaters and put it in the
hospital tank. It won't hurt the tank or the fish,
it will simply cycle on for less time than a lower
wattage heater.

Would it not be more convenient to buy another heater.
One reason if you take it from one tank then use it in the hospital tank and decide to return it back again you could also be taking a hospital back into the origional tank.

Hi,
When you are moving the heater from the 75 to the hospital
tank:
Scrape any deposits off of it, and then take a damp
rag with some chlorox on it, and wipe it throughly.
Then rinse it (the glass part) under running water.

Do this same thing when returning it to the 75 later.
