	Vinyl outlet tubing going white?!?!
Curare Enthusiast Posts: 196 Kudos: 130 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Jun-2004	I've noticed that the outlet tube on my powerhead, is slowly going white, it does have CO2 going through it but I'm unsure as to what's causing this. First off, should I be worried? Is it leaching something into the tank? Or is it normal? Just curious guys and gals.

A second piece that I have spliced (to reach the CO2 reactor) is still clear after 7 years. I think it is just the type of plastic and it aging process. My background is in model aircraft, the fuel we use has a tendency to make vynil tube incredibly hard and brittle in a short time. Considering it cheap as chips I don't mind, but this is in an area I don't want to see for at least a year!
