I can't get it to screw into my faucet. and if i do get it to stay it falls out as soon as turn the water on. If i try to fill my tank up the adapter falls off and shoots water all over my bathroom! It was working fine the last time i used it. Know i can't get it to stayed screwed in! |

Please correct me if I am wrong your unit is plastic/nylon wheras the tap thread is me If this is the case you have either stripped the thread or crossed threaded it. Just a guess but I am sure this is what you have done. Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? The replacement part will work for either inside or outside threads. You simply remove an inner washer to expose the threads other type. Works like a dream! That sounds very strange is the thread on the tap me Easy way to fix it just change the tap, a very simple job with a few tools. Just make sure you turn off the water supply first if not a little water will be everwhere in fact a lot. Please let us know on this one as it sounds rather unusual. If it has the on-off handle onn top the answer is yes, If it is just an outlet turning handle sepperate no. You will have to go to a hard ware store and ask them and folow all their instructions. Or get some one to do the job for you. Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? VOTE NOW VOTE NOW |

Bob Wesolowski Mega Fish Posts: 1379 Kudos: 1462 Registered: 14-Oct-2004 | You slip the gray rubber over the stripped end of your faucet then tighten the screw on the me Take the plastic piece from your python the hardware store and find the corresponding brass piece in plumbing. Try it before your buy the "Universal Adaptor". It's cheaper and longer lasting than a work around solution. __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |
